Critter Craze

Critter Craze was for our final capstone project for April 2024. This game was made for the Edmonton Public Library (and can be played by the public whenever! You should go down there if you can and check it out!). The goal for this game was to make something fun for kids to play that doesn't have to be educational. Enter Critter Craze. My pitch was picked by the library over about 10 other pitches.

I was the team leader for this project and directed all nine of my team members (6 designers and 3 programmers) to the finish line. I organized every aspect of the game including timelines, duties, and the game's direction.

I included a lot of game art here so you can see the project I directed in its entirety, but I must stress that this was a team project, so I DID NOT draw everything you see here. I have written in the captions of each photo a "*" at the beginning to mark photos of assets I did not draw to ensure that I am not taking credit for anothers work. Please note, every animal drawn here I did not draw.

The zoo map was originally drawn by a team member, but I expanded on either side of the image for our game over map in the Zoo level. The inner third was the original concept; the two outer thirds are what I drew to expand it
